So much to do, so litte time.

There're a lot of things I want to learn/attempt to execute. Coding a website is one of them, my book stuff is one of them. But I don't want to stop there, oh no. Plus, one can't simply dip their toes into the water and then leave. Once you know the water's good and nice, you have to build up some good swimming skills and commit in order to fully enjoy what's there. So here, you'll find some side projects of mine.

If it's something completely new to me, it'll probably look REALLY amateur-ish, but hey that's a testament to my willingness to look bad in exchange for getting better? Plus, in the words of Jake the dog from Adventure Time:

1. Web Text Adventure

I have this idea in my head of making a webpage based text adventure, using themes from my book. You know, like those choose your own adventure type books, but on a website. I think it could be fun and a cute little foray into game related stuff. Once I've got the start running I'll post a link here, along with the completion percentage.

2. Artist Alley Cards

One of my favorite things to do when I go to a convention or a local event, is check out artists and their work. I realized, after coming home from a couple of these places, that I've amassed quite a few of their business cards. A lot of them look really cool, and if I can use this place as a gateway to these creative individuals... why wouldn't I do that? It also satisfies a kinda ~collection~ urge I have. Like the first project, this is currently a silly idea in my head, but the plan is to take a photo of the artist card and link it to their website.
